Through horrors and blasphemy
Through ancient ruins of death
Creatures crawling and sibylline
Of strange, poor conquerors
Of creatures, monkey-like
I wonder why people around me
Are so blind that they will fall this climbing
Struggling with passions they’re screaming for freedom
While they cage theirself in an abject illusion
Blaming the mirror they self wash their souls
That they have sold, for a vanishing pot of gold
There’s no promise land, no land of freedom
Where you foolish run to find respite from evil
Ruiners of the world
I suppose I will be ignored
But you are destined to find
What you fear, what you deserve
Ruiners of the world
I suppose I will be ignored
There’s no way to awake
The minds of the dying
...So you die
The world you live simply was never be
Don’t fear to fear your faults will never leave
Fighting inside battles they close up their prisons
While they fear to hang theirself for some reason
Blaming the mirror into fire they go
Following who have ruined our home
There’s no promise land, no land of freedom
No plan B for start again an Eden
Ruiners of the world
I suppose I will be ignored
Their name was humans
They last, the time of a breath
Conscious of being trapped
When no hope can grow
Where no light can shine
There’s no way to awake the minds of the dying
NONE a opéré un virage dans Where Life Should Be et ça se confirme davantage dans Damp Chill of Life. Insoutenable... Jordan Vauvert
Great Belgian black metal with a raw production and plenty of atmosphere.
The vocals sounds like they're performed by someone who're in immense pain at times, which suits the music perfectly.
I can easily recommend all three demos from Oerheks. sardonicwrath
Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass).
Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit
Crushing blackened doom from this German band that counterbalances blinding fury with moments of surprising, melancholy melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2023
Tokyo band contrast black metal's brutal complexity with shoegaze's abyssal grandeur, resulting in an LP that feels crushing, yet infinite. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 24, 2022
Masterful use of acoustic passages and synth stuff. This is definitely my favorite black metal-dungeon synth kinda album I've found recently. Each track flows into the next so well, I cannot recommend it enough. Perri
